The Latest Fundly Product Enhancements

28 Feb

Hi I’m Dennis, VP of Products here at Fundly. I’m really excited to be writing this new blog post today as we’ve been heads down working on a number of new things that will help all of our fundraisers be more successful in their fundraising! We’ve spoken to a fair number of our fundraisers over the last couple of months and have been making some huge strides in usability and performance!

Below you’ll find a list of the new features as well as a quick excerpt about each of them!
Streamlined Dashboard
We pushed out a major update to our fundraiser management pages and switched to a tabbed structure underneath the context of campaigns.  This should lessen any confusion that people have running multiple campaigns at the same time and navigating between them.  By providing the campaign name at the top of the page at all times, our fundraisers should always know which campaign they are managing.  Users now have 4 tabs when they are logged in, “Welcome”, “Email”, “Embed”, “Funds”.

Ability to “Delete” Campaigns

One of the most common requests that we get and have seen in the past are that people want to “Delete” campaigns from their drop downs.  Either these campaigns were created by accident or just no longer needed, we have now given users the ability to “Delete” campaigns.  One thing to note, campaigns can only be deleted if they haven’t raised money.   Users should be able to see an “X” icon on campaigns that can be deleted and then prompted to ensure that is the campaign they would like to delete

Email a Friend

We now have the ability to send out emails to your friends from campaign pages. We know, frequently, people are eager to share campaigns with their friends and that should be encouraged! So now, beyond just being able to post to Facebook, Twitter, etc., there is also email!

*Coming Soon*

Don’t look now! But we’re at it again and as I mentioned above, we’re always looking to see how we can continue to improve the product!  We’ve been working on an updated design that we know everyone will like! We’ve highlighted photos and videos and given stronger prominence to personal fundraisers who are raising money for campaign pages!
As always, I’d love to hear your feedback and comments as you use our system!  If you don’t know, I read EVERY email I get (, so let me know your thoughts!
